This role is hand-building ductwork and installing massive heating and air conditioning systems. You’ll be part of a team that gets to direct monster crane picks and go into areas that are off-limits to others. You will get to brag to your friends and family how you built a stadium, a hospital, or the very school your kids attend. You’ll gain practical knowledge that you can use for the rest of your life. Top performers will be placed into the exclusive Apprenticeship program with company-paid schooling and benefits. Training received through the apprenticeship includes fabrication, air conditioners and controls, furnace and heating equipment, drafting/CAD, and welding.
Basic Qualifications:
Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely
You can comfortably lift 50+ pounds; be able to push, pull, carry or maneuver heavier items
Extreme attention to detail and pride in your work
Pass pre-employment and periodic drug screenings

Sheet Metal Preapprentice - training provided
There is massive potential for you to leverage your HVAC skills to install, diagnose, and service a variety of HVAC equipment, on residential and commercial jobsites. We have developed relationships with a core group of property owners, where we help with ongoing system maintenance. Our technicians also play an important role in finalizing, commissioning, and troubleshooting cutting-edge commercial equipment.
Basic Qualifications:
Iowa HVAC journeyman-level license with 3+ years doing the following:
HVAC technician working on homes or multi-family residences
HVAC service technician working on commercial jobsites
Mechanical aptitude: interest and ability to diagnose problems in a system, including furnaces, condensers, and compressors; testing and balancing systems (TAB)
Communication skills: desire to provide 5-star customer experience
You can comfortably lift 50+ pounds; be able to push, pull, carry or maneuver heavier items
Clean driving record
Pass pre-employment and periodic drug screenings
HVAC Technician
This role involves working with our existing drafting team, estimators, PMs, and fabrication team to bring bid documents to life. You will work with state-of-the-art software, project specs, and industry standards to layout air handling equipment and ductwork necessary to support commercial buildings. Your designs will go into our fabrication line for processing, so you will partner with our shop team to optimize production schedules and reduce waste. You will also use 3-D modeling software to coordinate, occasionally at customer sites, with other contractors. A top performer can grow the role over time, possibly into a BIM Manager or Project Manager position.
Basic Qualifications:
Verifiable experience with duct systems and CAD software (Revit, AEC, SysQue, etc.) via one of the following:
1+ year drafting duct system for a mechanical contractor or design firm
Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in relevant field with working knowledge of software
Extreme attention to detail and pride in your work

BIM/CAD Designer
Accounting Manager
This career opportunity involves supporting the operational excellence of our project teams. You will be heavily involved in the financial side of the business. You will learn key elements of running a rapidly-growing construction business first-hand.
This role includes managing elements of our financials, performance tracking, managing payables and receivables, month-end close processes, and compiling employee hours for reporting. Additional projects for a high-performer may include valuations and strategic planning. The career trajectory could include growing into the role of Controller/Treasurer.
This individual will be supporting our founder-led, Iowa business, with regular interaction with the CFO and President. A successful candidate will have an exceptional attention to detail and be results-driven.
Basic Qualifications:
Associates Degree, Bachelor’s Degree or military experience in relevant field (Finance, Accounting, Business Administration)
Clear understanding of financial reporting (income statement, accounts payable, accounts receivable) and process controls
Microsoft Excel proficiency is a must
